Bill Murray on Ghostbusters 3

There are spoilers ahead for those who want to go into Ghostbusters 3 completely cold, as Bill Murray talks about the project…

If you're one of those who's excited about the thought of a third Ghostbusters movie, then rest assured that your enthusiasm for it does not appear to be shared by Bill Murray.

Appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman in the US, Murray was asked about Ghostbusters 3, which the actor described as a "nightmare".

"I told them if they killed me off in the first reel I'd do it," he confirmed, which backs up what Sigourney Weaver first said of his involvement at the back end of last year. "So now they've figured out a way to kill me in the first reel," he revealed.

"It's just crazy talk," he continued, showing a distinct lack of enthusiasm for Ghostbusters 3. Instead, he was a lot happier when talking about recording Peter Venkman's lines for the Ghostbusters videogame that came out last year.

Ghostbusters 3 is still set to go before the cameras this year, with Ivan Reitman once again directing.

Here's the clip from the Letterman show:

Bill Murray's lack of enthusiasm for this should be shared by all. This movie is going to stink on ice.

and you know it's going to be 3d. Just leave it guys. The computer game was great because it was the whole team for the whole time. None of this Next Gen bull you're obviously going to pull.

At least Bill isn't shying away from the fact that G3 is all about the $$$.
