Re: Toy Story 3: the latest characters revealedI will forgive them the blatant cash grab on the toys if the film is anywhere near as good as the first two. | |
Re: Toy Story 3: the latest characters revealedI think half the fun of these movies is seeing the "fake" toys they create/parody. I'm still super hyped about the Ken doll's inclusion. XD |

Trixie and Buttercup join the line up for Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 3…
Pixar continues to slowly unveil the new cast of characters for this summer's Toy Story 3. It's previously told us that there are 14 new characters in the film, and we're now meeting another two of them here.
Firstly, there's Buttercup, who is described thus: "This cuddly unicorn features velvety-soft, snow-coloured fur with sparkly gold and pink accents. He sports a signature mythical golden horn and a fun-to-comb mane and tail. Buttercup's durable plastic eyes are both charming and scratch-resistant. Hypo-allergenic. Ages 3 and up."
And the latest reveal is Trixie the Triceratops. The official toy description for Trixie? It's right here: "Trixie is a perfect playmate for prehistoric playtime! Visit the era when dinosaurs ruled the Earth! Made of rigid, durable plastic and in friendly shades of blue and purple, Trixie features an expressive mouth and movable legs. This gentle Triceratops will feed any child's imagination. Also available: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus and Velociraptor."
Toy Story 3 arrives in the UK on 23rd July, with its US release on 18th June. And there are still plenty of characters to be unveiled in the weeks ahead...
