Geek shows and movies on UK TV in the coming week
Gaye Birch
A week that's shy for new programmes starting up, but one with plenty of existing shows and movies to keep you entertained...
Published on Feb 12, 2010
It's all about the movies this week as - unless you're a sports fan - there are no new programmes starting up or winding down in the next seven days that caught our attention.
That doesn't mean there are no televisual treats on offer. We're still faithfully following our favourites, if only for their remaining couple/few episodes to go (Being Human, Survivors, Mock The Week, QI, Harry Hill's TV Burp and 8 Out Of 10 Cats being among the remaining UK grown weekly harvest).
So, it's straight to those films, with something for everyone in the bunch, from anime aficionados, Brian Blessed, Adam West and Paul McGann's Who fan boys and girls, and those hungry for horror, alongside some classic animation, drama and kids' fare to share.
As always, if we missed anything interesting, have a shout in the comments, with our thanks.
Please also note: the ordinal numbers for dates will help you scan through this simple list with your browser's search function. Enter '14th' in your browser's Find box or window to highlight and/or tab through all movies shown on Saturday. Enjoy!
