Ghostbusters 3 story spoiler

Don’t click here if you don’t want to read it. It involves Bill Murray if you need a hint.

Remember last year when Sigourney Weaver dropped a spoiler for the direction that Ghostbusters 3 was reported to be heading? It turns out, she was bang on the money.
The story concerned Bill Murray's character, who Weaver revealed was to be a ghost in Ghostbusters III. She also suggested that her son in the films, Oscar, would have grown up to become a Ghostbuster himself.
As it turns out, the first part of Weaver's spoiler was absolutely correct, and has been confirmed by Murray himself (who, last year, sprung the best cameo we've seen in a Hollywood movie in ages - we won't spoil it in case you don't know the film).
Murray, talking to the Mail Online, said that he told the makers, "I'll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.' So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film."
Expect more Ghostbusters news in the months ahead, as the planned third film - which is being directed by Ivan Reitman once more - heads towards production.
