Kick-Ass: the latest poster and new trailer
Simon Brew
The latest publicity material from Kick-Ass. Which still looks awesome. Includes the new trailer too...
Published on Feb 3, 2010
We consider it our worldly duty to report every piece of Kick-Ass news that we can find, so high up our radar is Matthew Vaughn's upcoming film.
The latest piece of publicity material for the film is the new UK quad poster which, as you'll see, has a hint of the level of review returns the film can expect. We're not allowed to tell you what we thought of the final cut of the film yet (bah), but we can point you in the direction of Duncan's earlier write-up of a test-screening that nearly turned the man into a gibbering wreck of excitement.
His report is here, the poster is in the top right (click on it to make it bigger), and Kick-Ass arrives on 2nd April.
UPDATE:
And, just as we were about to put this post live, we got hold of the latest trailer for the film too. Much of the material here we've seen before in earlier promos, but there does appear to be a few new bits in there too. It does still confirm the view that the film looks brilliant. And, we might be mistaken, but Nic Cage doesn't appear to be playing Nic Cage. Or are we just getting a bit giddy with excitement?
