Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps trailer

Gordon Gekko returns, as the first trailer for Oliver Stone's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps hits. Catch it right here...

"Why don't you start calling me Gordon?"

We can't be the only ones who were thinking that Oliver Stone's belated sequel to Wall Street didn't look the best idea on paper. Neither Stone nor star Michael Douglas has put their name to a really good film for some time, and a lot of time has passed since Gordon Gekko first ruled the world.

On the flip side, this isn't a bad time, given the state of the world economy over the last year or two, to go back to Wall Street, and truthfully, we quite liked this first teaser trailer for the film. Shia LaBeouf still looks like risky casting, but Douglas is wonderful in roles such as this (returning to the character who won him a best actor Oscar), and the early sign is that he will be again.

Here's the trailer...

Hmm, actually quite looking forward to this with Douglas and Stone. But why LaBoof?? He must have some real meat on some very important people...

"Money Never Sleeps" Instant addition to worst tag lines ever. Actually being part of the very title.

Funny scenes in the trailer when Gekko gets out of prison, receiving his big old cell phone!! He notices that greed is still good and now also legal. It seems even mr. Charlie Sheen stopped by for a cameo. Money talks, bullshit walks!

Hmmm... nope, not sold. 80s nostalgia + Shia LeBeouf - Indiana Jones = BLUGH.
