Harry Potter and Clash Of The Titans to be in 3D

Warner Bros jumps aboard the 3D bandwagon, with Clash Of The Titans and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows the latest beneficiaries…
Published on Jan 27, 2010
Just a few days ago, we were reporting that Warner Bros was considering whether it had the time to add 3D to this March's release of its Clash Of The Titans remake. Director Louis Letterier had noted that he didn't think they had enough time to do so, but given the sheer amount of hard cash that Avatar's 3D screenings have been bringing in, there's obviously some enthusiasm to embrace 3D wherever possible.
And while Warner Bros hasn't yet confirmed this, The Hollywood Reporter is now suggesting that not only will Clash Of The Titans be in 3D, but so will the last two Harry Potter films, the first of which is due this November.
Presumably to accommodate the time required to add 3D to Titans, the release of the film is set to be pushed back to April 2nd. Expect formal confirmation of this over the next couple of days. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part I is still set for release on November 19th.
