New image from Christopher Nolan’s Inception

The latest picture from Christopher Nolan’s secretive sci-fi film Inception doesn’t shed too many clues…
We've had, to be fair, a pair of trailers for Christopher Nolan's mysterious summer sci-fi project Inception thus far, and we've had a picture before too. But this latest image to be released from the production is just a bit more mysterious. It features Leonardo DiCaprio, as you can see, but it's the background that intrigues us. Is there something going on there? Or is it just a man holding a gun in a well-decorated room?
The image was revealed at the Los Angeles Times, and it continues the extraordinary closed promotion for a film that's costing Warner Bros a cool $200m to make. That said, the lessons of Avatar are loud and clear: you don't have to let the cat out of the bag for a while, just make sure that when you do, you then flood the world with word of your movie.
In the meantime, we're left to guess just what Inception is all about. Christopher Nolan, talking to the LA Times, says of the film that "The key part of the premise is corporate espionage by way of dream invasion, but motives and even reality are slippery in a film that toys with perception as its travels through time and space."
Phew. That's cleared that up, then.
Inception arrives in cinemas on 16th July.
