Just before Christmas, the world bade a way-too-early farewell to Mr Dan O'Bannon, who died at the age of 63. O'Bannon's career had, of course, covered the likes of Alien, Total Recall, Dark Star, Screamers and Heavy Metal, and his influences and work are set to live on for a long, long time.
Following his death, Dan's widow, Diane O'Bannon, has pressed ahead with the launch of Dan's official site, which he had been working on shortly before his death. The site includes plenty of information for fans of Dan O'Bannon, and among the treats you'll find is information on the last script that Dan was working on, as well as details of a zombie film that he'd intended to direct.
There's also up-to-date information on Dan O'Bannon's Necronomicon, which he'd finished working on. It'd been a project that had been in his life for a good ten years.
You can find Dan O'Bannon's official site at www.danobannon.com.
