"Release the Kraken!"

Okay, that looks much, much better. The first trailer for Clash Of The Titans didn't really do it any favours from where we were sitting, but Warner Bros has now released a far superior second promo, that's both longer and better.

We don't think we're allowed to host it here, as it's premiered over at Apple.com (whose servers did such, er, a good job of hosting the Avatar trailer earlier in the year, if you remember). But it's worth going and taking a look at. The effects look smart, the action looks exciting, and the cutting together of the trailer itself is far more impressive.

The film is one of the first blockbusters of 2010, with a release date in March. And we're confidently going to predict that no film will have a better looking Kraken.
