First trailer for Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood

Russell Crowe heads to Nottingham, as we get the first trailer for next year’s Robin Hood movie…

Well, it looks nothing like the Kevin Costner version.
The first trailer for Ridley Scott's summer blockbuster Robin Hood has been released, and it gives a sense of the darker visual style that the director is bringing to the story. It's a very measured trailer that keeps the talking to a minimum. It does manage to spring a loud music track in there halfway through, though. Not quite sure why.
We don't get to see too much of Russell Crowe until the very end, but you can bet he'll be a slightly angrier version of the title character than we're generally used to seeing. Take a look at the trailer yourself and see what you think.
The film itself will be arriving in cinemas on 14th May 2010.
