Avatar: behind the scenes story featurette
Simon Brew
The latest featurette for James Cameron’s Avatar goes into the story of the film just a little bit more...
Published on Dec 8, 2009
Just because we've stopped talking about it on the site of late, that doesn't mean that the Avatar promotional material hasn't stopped coming. Far from it, with umpteen TV spots and new featurettes appearing, the aim still appears to be, from where we're sitting, to show you as much in a small YouTube video before you get to see it on a big screen.
To give you a flavour of what you've been missing, here's one of the better and most recent featurettes. It's going behind the scenes on the story of the film, which has already been heavily exposed in one or two of the trailers. James Cameron talks a bit about the film, and there's some more footage that we've not seen before in the midst of all of this.
Avatar finally arrives next week, on 17th December in the UK. It's also getting its world premiere in London this Thursday, and we hope to have a review for you within the next week. It'll be good to finally see the film for real. And we still can't wait to do so...
