We're two weeks away now from the release of James Cameron's Avatar, a film that we feel like we've been anticipating and looking forward to for a very, very long time. In preparation for the movie's release, Fox has released a full collection of publicity stills, one or two of which we've seen before, but many we're seeing for the first time.

The film hits the UK on December 17th, and arrives in the US one day later. And perhaps we'll find out once and for all if big screen 3D really is the future...
