Transformers 3: Michael Bay on Megan Fox
Simon Brew
With the third Transformers movie now in the planning stages, Michael Bay has been talking about Megan Fox’s role in the next film…
Published on Nov 23, 2009
There was a bit of a to and fro earlier in the year between actress Megan Fox and director Michael Bay off the back of working together on Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, not helped by the former describing the latter as a "nightmare", among the more charitable comments that were forthcoming. The pair have, however, put their differences to the side, and both are signed up to make a third Transformers film, which is set to shoot next year.
Bay has gone further than that, though, and as USA Today has reported, he's been sticking up for the actress and criticising the spin that has been put on events.
He's also addressed the suggestion that he was set to kill off Megan Fox's character in the third Transformers movie, categorically denying that that's the case. "She's got a great part in Transformers 3," he confirmed, and when asked whether he would be looking to kill her off, he replied, "No, no. no. She gets enough of that already."
So there you have it. Don't rule them out for Transformers 4 either, at this rate. Not now they're the best of buddies again.
Transformers 3, meanwhile, will be out on 1st July 2011.
