The latest trailer for The Lovely Bones does little to dampen our interest in Peter Jackson’s film of the Alice Sebold book…

It's still disappointing that we don't get The Lovely Bones over in the UK until the end of January, because the more we see of it, the more impressive it looks. It's director Peter Jackson's first new film since 2005's King Kong, and his adaptation of the Alice Sebold novel has already been touted as a potential Oscar candidate.
Ahead of the film's release, a brand new international trailer has been release - which accounts for the French subtitles here - which includes some footage of the film that we've not seen before. Can't wait to see this one.
The Lovely Bones opens in the UK 29th January, and gets a limited US release on 11th December (ahead of a wide release from 15th January). If you live in Australia or New Zealand meanwhile, you get the film on Boxing Day...
