New poster for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland

A lovely new poster for Alice In Wonderland makes its bow...
Published on Nov 10, 2009
As is increasingly the way, the poster for a major new motion picture has made its debut on a social networking site. We're not quite sure why. It's not as if gadzillions of people use such things. It's only Facebook. Ahem.
Anyway, the movie in question is Tim Burton's eagerly awaited take on Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. It's a film we're certainly keen to see: even though there's a compelling argument that Burton's best movies were made in the 1990s - Ed Wood remains a masterpiece - there were moments of real class in Sweeney Todd, and we've got a real hope that Alice In Wonderland will burst him back to full form.
For now, we can safely say that the poster looks nice. In fact, the poster looks great, a really smart piece of work that seems to blend the fairytale nature of the story with some more sinister undertones.
The film itself arrives next March, and we wouldn't be surprised if another trailer was forthcoming in time for the Christmas season either...
