The Wolfman: brand new trailer

The latest trailer for Benicio Del Toro as The Wolfman doesn’t quite measure up to the first…

"Do you believe in curses?"
Universal Pictures surprised us earlier this year when the first trailer for its frequently delayed film The Wolfman turned out to be really very good. The film, directed by Joe Johnston and starring Benicio Del Toro, was slated to be released last summer, then was bumped to November, and now sits in a February 2010 release slot (a crowded month, what with Shutter Island and A Couple Of Dicks lining up for release around the same time). The blame for the delay was put on effects work, but, inevitably, suspicions arose that the film itself was having some trouble. That first trailer though quashed some of those fears.
This second trailer is light on dialogue, heavier on music and generally, for our money, looks less impressive than the first. But what do you think? Take a look at the trailer below, and drop your thoughts in the comments. Perhaps The Wolfman isn't out of the woods yet, though.
The Wolfman will (finally) be arriving in cinemas on 12 February.
