Re: Image gallery: Dennis Quaid in HorsemenWith no previous knowledge of this movie, I can confidently say this movie will be terrible. Everything Dennis Quaid touches turns to garbage...please stop taking roles Mr. Quaid.
Re: Image gallery: Dennis Quaid in HorsemenFor one, this movie is actually pretty good. It's not perfect but it was pretty entertaining. Second, to RobGordon23 I can only think that you are confusing Dennis Quaid with Nick Cage.
Re: Image gallery: Dennis Quaid in Horsemenmicah.byrd you have humorously made a good point but Quaid has an impressive resume of crap. GI Joe, The Day After Tomorrow, Vantage Point, Flight of the Phoenix, Pandorum, The Battle for Terra, Cold Creek Manor and Yours, Mine and Ours are all within the past 5-6 years. He's definitely not someone to be excited about when you see his name on the poster.
Re: Image gallery: Dennis Quaid in HorsemenWell, I have to admit that there are a few flicks up there that I liked. And as with all kids movies I usually lump them into 2 categories: money makers for the studio (G-Force, Sky High, Spy Kids 1,2,3...) and genuine cinema (Wall-e, The Prince of Egypt, Fantasia...) so I don't blame him for that. The problem I have with Cage that I don't have with Quaid is that Quaid's performance is usually NOT the reason the movie stunk. Actually it's the opposite (he was decent in Vantage Point and TDAT), they are just crappy scripts. With Cage... he just brings a movie down! We call it "Travolta-ing" a movie. It's a similar syndrome where an actor plays a version of a character over and over again and does not bring any life or art to the role. After Leaving Las Vegas Nick Cage has been Travolta-ing us for years! |

The Quaid is back! Again! And we’ve got the pictures to prove it…
If Pandorum didn't give you your Dennis Quaid fix over the past month, then the great man has another new film out, even if it is treading a path direct to video. Horsemen, from producer Michael Bay no less, looks suitably bonkers, with detective Quaid investigating serial killings that are seemingly linked in some way to the Biblical prophecy of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. And inevitably, he finds himself linked to the suspects.
The film arrives on DVD and Blu-ray today, and we've got a smattering of images for you to help you get your regular Quaid allowance. Click on any of them to make them nice and big...
