Daybreakers: the poster
Simon Brew
If you're already planning your sci-fi fix for next year, then the new poster for Daybreakers might just whet your appetite...
Published on Oct 16, 2009
If you think that the avalanche of science fiction films in recent times is coming to an end, then think again! While it's Avatar that's going to be dominating December, you may yet want to mark a space in your diary for Daybreakers, which is currently scheduled for January.
It stars Ethan Hawke, and we have fond memories of the last time he tackled a proper sci-fi film (Gattaca). And a poster for the film has just been released. Not just that: it's a brilliant poster, arriving the day after the equally superb poster for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus.
Let us, therefore, declare this superb poster week, and we'll have more on Daybreakers in the weeks ahead.

An intriguing trailer for Daybreakers is on the Crank 2 DVD.

Oh dear. Simon rew is Simon's not-so-very-evil twin from an alternate universe. The extent of his not-so-evilness is to invade web pages and surreptitiously remove Bs. What his beef with Bs is we have no idea. Thanks for the sighting report, moakle. We'll be on the lookout for the B eradicator.
