This looks like a film in the good old tradition of 90's British filmaking i.e. poo poo.

Sounds like the sort of crap they occasionally churn out for a made for TV movie.
At least the one where all the 30-something actors were the 8 years olds was amusing for the surreal element of it.

'This Christmas follow your heart, live for the moment, and make all your dreams come true.' Are you kidding? Christ, this looks worse than Bride Wars. And that kid at the end? Just inappropriate.

The trailer doesn't fill me with hope. One of the funniest moments is 'man fainting at pregnancy'... oh dear.

Christ, I thought you Poms lived in the home of Pantomime. Lighten the fuck up.
Maybe we should all play "Disect the Family Xmas Movie".. oh wait... you've started without us.

This pom has to agree with the Ausie. We haven't even seen the film yet. It could be great.

On seeing that video though... I'll admit I'm not sure... Mainly as I'm not into kiddie cutesy stuff, but I've been nicely surprised. (School of Rock.) And it is a family film.

Yes, all we have seen is the trailer but trailers are meant to show you the best of a film and encourage you to see it. It doesn't take any 'dissection' to see that this isn't actually any good. Stop giving it the benefit of the doubt :)

We may, as you say, live in the home of the pantomime but that doesn't mean panto is good. It's not. It's a refuge for the worst kind of entertainment and for c-list 'celebs' to come crawling out of the gutter. It's not big, and it;s not clever either. And I have a sneaky suspicion this film will be bobbins.

We may be the home of the panto but we fill it full of Aussie actors.
Maybe they should expand that banned Mr Kiplings advert into a full movie
