An exceedingly dark trailer emerges for Hammer's horror sequel, The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death...

The Woman In Black was a surprisingly huge hit for the revived British studio Hammer, with the star power of Daniel Radcliffe helping it on to a UK haul of just over £14m. That's the kind of success you ignore at your peril if you happen to be in the business of making horror movies, and sure enough, Hammer's been busily making a sequel to The Woman In Black, subtitled Angel Of Death.

Inevitably, Daniel Radcliffe isn't back for this one, so director Tom Harper (who replaces the previous film's James Watkins) will have to make do without the actor's shining, terrorised eyes, which almost appeared to glow when underlit by a guttering candle. Instead, it's Jeremy Irvine and Phoebe Fox's turn to be terrorised by shadowy forces in a story that takes place 14 years after the previous film's events, but retains its spooky Eel Marsh House location.

Those shadowy forces are very much in evidence in the teaser trailer below which, if we're being honest, might be a touch too dark for its own good. Or maybe we just haven't got our monitor calibrated properly.

Wait, I think I just saw a rocking chair.

The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death is out in UK cinemas on the 13th February 2015.
