New trailer for The Descent: Part 2
Simon Brew
Early reviews for The Descent Part 2 start to creep in, as what looks like the US trailer for the film makes its bow...
Published on Sep 10, 2009
Without original director Neil Marshall behind the camera, it's perhaps understandable that back when it was announced, excitement for The Descent: Part 2 was somewhat tempered.
Due out in cinemas later this year, the sequel still involves Marshall on producing duties though, and it was screened last week at Frightfest. Reviews for the film haven't actually been too bad, with the consensus seemingly being that it doesn't come close to the majesty of the original, but it does offer some decent entertainment for your money. Don't go looking for too many new ideas, though.
Anyway, there's a new US trailer for the film, which you can find below. But if you want to see the film movie for yourself, you've still got a wait on your hands.
It's set for a UK bow on 4th December.
