Re: 11 new stills from 9Am curious as to what their hands are made of ? The stripey one (number 6) appears to have filed down duffle coat toggles for fingers, I thought the others had mini baseball catchers mits, but they're not!
Re: 11 new stills from 9Good question. I think the striped one's fingers are from fountain pens. They still have ink on the ends. :c)
Re: 11 new stills from 9Awww yes Lizlemon I can totally see that. They must be cutsie tinsie creatures, though I think you can compare size at the beginning of the trailer against that of the scientist.(A touch of Edward Scissorhands there) Am loving the look of the machines.
I think little stripey is my fav in the trailer, like hes the 'baby' of the bunch. |

11 new stills from 9
Simon Brew
As 9 prepares for its US debut in cinemas this week, here are the latest stills from one of the most interesting-looking films of the season….
Last week, we posted the impressive trailer for the incoming animated opus, 9. Directed by Shane Acker, under the watchful eye of producers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, the film is based on the Oscar-nominated short of the same name, and you can read a bit more about it, and see the trailer, here .With Coraline and Up already rounding up plaudits, and 9 and Fantastic Mr Fox just around the corner, 2009 is shaping up to be the finest year for animation in some time.
To get you further in the mood for 9, a series of fresh stills from the production have emerged, which we've gathered together for you here. Just click on any of them to make them magically bigger, and then you simply need to wait until 30th October in the UK, and this Wednesday in the US to see if it lives up to the fuss...
