Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince: DVD & Blu-ray release date

With most of the big summer blockbusters dated for DVD, the last of the summer's megahits - Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince - appears to be settling towards a 7th December release date. This was the date bounced around prior to the film's cinematic release, and while no formal confirmation has been forthcoming, the word is that the first full week of December will be see the return of Mr Potter arrive on disc.

What also seems clear is that, unsurprisingly, it'll be a two-disc DVD set that's being released, alongside a three-disc Blu-ray (with one of those discs presumably accounted for by the digital copy that Warner Bros includes with its major releases). A six-film boxset is also coming too.

Expect formal confirmation from Warner Bros in the weeks ahead...
