The Fourth Kind trailer
Simon Brew
A promising looking alien abduction thriller based on real life material, the first trailer for Milla Jovovich in The Fourth Kind has arrived...
Published on Aug 25, 2009
Introduced by its star, Milla Jovovich, the trailer for Universal's upcoming The Fourth Kind isn't your conventional kind of promo. She explains from the off that every scene in the film is supported by archive footage (demonstrated by a split screen shot of her next to the real life woman she's portraying), but soon it all seems to settle down to be something a little more conventional. The trailer does, towards the end, have some particularly good little bits, though.
The Fourth Kind, anyway, is based around true accounts, and is a thriller that looks at a small town in Alaska where people keep disappearing in mysterious and unexplained ways.
The film itself isn't out until November 6th in the US, and there's no UK release date penned in thus far. But take a look at the trailer and see what you think. It doesn't look too bad from where we're sitting...
