Disney "struggling" with Captain America 3 release date

Might someone be about to blink in the Batman Vs Superman against Captain America 3 showdown?

Whilst so far there's been a lot of chest beating and a refusal to budge, the currently shared release date for Captain America 3 and Batman Vs Superman remains a problem for both Disney and Warner Bros. As things stand, both movies are set to open on May 6th 2016, with Marvel in particular quite bullish about refusing to vacate a date it had earmarked some time before Warner Bros announced the same day for its Man Of Steel sequel.

However, Marvel's parent company, Disney, seems less keen about the fight. In a conference call with journalists, Disney boss Alan Horn was asked about the Captain America 3 release date, and for the first time, it hinted that someone was going to blink in this particular stare-off. "We'll see", Horn said. "We're struggling with it". Just a few words, but perhaps the first sign of a softening in position.

It's likely that Warner Bros, behind closed doors, has been having doubts as well. But surely it's just a matter of time now before Captain America 3 or Batman Vs Superman finds itself a new release date. Place your bets...
