Bradley Cooper has been chatting about what attracted him to Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy movie...

One of the characters that is no doubt going to be a tricky sell in Marvel's upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy film is Rocket Racoon. The character will, we suspect, end up treading a fine line between ridiculous and awesome. What will help sell the role is having an actor of considerable talent lending their voice to the character. And that's where Bradley Cooper comes in.

Cooper has recently been chatting about the role to Collider, and specifically what attracted him to it. "Well, I like James [Gunn, director] a lot and it was really all about him and then talking to him about the guy. I wasn't familiar with the comic at all and I really loved it, and I love the character. He's incredible, that character".

So what about the voice he'll be using? "You know, one thing we debated was how he's seen as [having] a Cockney accent sometimes. So we talked about whether we'd do that or do this sort of other guy from the city a little bit". We wait and see what he chose.

Cooper praised his co-stars in the film too, saying that "Chris Pratt just blew me away".

We wonder if we might get a full trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy this side of Christmas. It's possible. The movie itself arrives on August 1st 2014.
