The Green Lantern: Timberlake, Cooper or Reynolds?

Warner Bros has got the title role in its Green Lantern movie down to three, it seems...

It's coming up to make your mind up time for Warner Bros with regards its upcoming movie of The Green Lantern. The definite it already has in place is director Martin Campbell, who the studio hopes will be bringing a bit of The Mask Of Zorro and Casino Royale magic to the film. But speculation has been flying around for some time about who will be taking the title role in the film.
Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter, there are now three actors in the running for it. The previously reported Bradley Cooper - red hot off the back of The Hangover - is still in there, as is Ryan Reynolds (whose summer back to back hits Wolverine and The Proposal have done his star power no harm, even if it wasn't his name pulling people to the former). And then there's, get this, the small matter of Justin Timberlake, who is apparently in the running too. Yikes.
The THR story notes that all three actors have now done a pair of screen tests for the role, and that director Campbell and the studio have a different choice as to who should be The Green Lantern. Apparently, the holding agreement that Warner Bros had with each of the actors has expired, which would explain why the studio is now looking to make its decision quickly.
With some budget trimming work apparently also still required, Warner Bros looks like its got a busy few weeks ahead of it, as it tries to make sure the pic is ready for a December 2010 release slot.
And our choice, incidentally? Cooper or Reynolds is fine by us. Sorry, Justin...
