A new trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds reveals footage we've not seen before...
Published on Jul 1, 2009
The US trailer for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming World War II flick Inglourious Basterds arrived earlier this month. But the European trailer differs quite a lot, with a collection of fresh footage that we'd not seen before (on top of some material that we had).
The clip below does have French subtitles overlaid on top, although the trailer itself is in English. And it plays very heavily on the action elements of the film.
Take a look below, and if you want to see the American trailer, you can find it here.

Is that guy playing the British Major (talking about the Basterds) Mike Myers? lol

So French audiences get treated to a trailer that suggests a witty plot whereas English-speaking audiences get a trailer that amps up a sense of "yeah, this is dumb Nazi-killing violence!" Hurm. Nice trailer anyhow, and I'm pretty certain that that was Mike Myers as the Major.
