Scarlett Johansson talks Black Widow in Captain America 2
Scarlett Johansson has been chatting about her role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier .
Scarlett Johansson continued to notch up Marvel movie credits. Following her appearance in Iron Man 2 she took a substantive role in The Avengers and whilst a standalone movie for Black Widow is somewhat unlikely at this point she does have a role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier coming up.
She has recently been chatting about the former to Refinery 29, revealing that "this film is in real time. It's been two years since [the characters] appeared, and now both are agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fighting in the streets. We are not superheroes flying side by side. They help each other because we are fighting in a similar way. It's a working relationship".
She went on to discuss the relationship between Black Widow and Captain America. "By a series of unfortunate encounters, they will be in a situation in which their friendship becomes more intimate", she said. "They share many similarities because they live on the defensive without relying on anyone. Also, the two have been working for the government throughout their professional careers. With their friendship they begin to question what they want and their true identity". Interesting.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is released on May 2nd 2014.
