Catch a first glimpse of M Night Shyamalan’s Last Airbender movie…

Yesterday, we eventually resisted the urge to post a news story offering, er, a trailer for the trailer of The Last Airbender, that was set to air on Entertainment Tonight in the States last night. Instead, we waited 24 hours, and finally got the trailer that shows the first footage from The Last Airbender, the new film from M Night Shyamalan. We think we did the right thing, but loved the idea of doing a trailer for a trailer piece anyway. Heck, we wrote it up and everything.
Given that Shyamalan's last two films, The Lady In The Water and The Happening, have generated the weakest box office and critical returns of his career, there's inevitably quite a lot of interest in his new film. It's based on the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, and stars Dev Patel. Shyamalan, interestingly, shares writing credits on this one.
Anyway, enough from us. Here's that trailer...
