WARNING: A SPOILER AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN THE FIRST FILM

It was, even though it was a big action movie released in the middle of the summer, a bit of a surprise when Wanted hit as big as it did last year. And off the back of its significant box office returns, it was quickly revealed that a sequel was going to be in the offing.

Well, that sequel could be coming a little sooner than first thought. Director Timur Bekmambetov, who will be returning for the second film, has revealed that Wanted 2 is set to start shooting at the end of the summer, and that the shoot is planned to cover Russia, India and America.

He’s also revealed that Angelina Jolie will be returning for the sequel, even though her character died in the original film.

It’s due out in cinemas next summer, so perhaps it’s not that surprising that all concerned seem to be getting a bit of a crack on…
