Martin Scorsese’s latest is due in the Autumn – and you can catch the first glance of Shutter Island right here…

Later this year, we get to see just what Martin Scorsese has done with Dennis Lehane's novel of Shutter Island. Due to arrive on cinema screens in October, Scorsese's big screen adaptation of the film once more teams the director with Leonardo DiCaprio, and it also features Michelle Williams, Max Von Sydow, Emily Mortimer, Ben Kingsley, Patricia Clarkson and Mark Ruffalo.
The plot? Set in 1954, it tells the story of DiCaprio's US marshal, who heads to the Shutter Island of the title, where it houses Ashecliffe Hospital, a place for the criminally insane. Only problem is, once he gets there, things aren't quite as they seem.
The trailer has done absolutely nothing to put us off the film whatsoever, and it looks like the creepiest thriller right now this side of Seven.
