Cameron and Weaver talk Avatar
Martin Anderson
The most ambitious 3D movie of all time is still under tight wraps, but increasingly a discussable subject...

James Cameron and Sigourney Weaver are being fairly tight-lipped about this Christmas's Avatar, the 3D sci-fi film that may very well decide the next consumer battlefield in home entertainment. But at least we're starting to hear a little more about it now.
Here Cameron talks about the movie and admits that Sam Worthington could well be in line for major Hollywood stardom (whilst thanking him for becoming a star after he signed up to Avatar), and talks about the challenges of the motion capture needed to create the 'Avatar' section of the film...
Over at Latino Review you can also see a THR clip of Sigourney Weaver discussing her work as a botanist on Avatar, and the location shooting of the film. Click here to check it out.
Not for Cameron then the sustained advanced publicity campaign that would see a ton of Avatar material unwisely fall into the PR gene-pool. By this stage of anticipation for Dark Knight we had practically seen 30 minutes of the film.
