Seth MacFarlane recruits Liam Neeson and GIovanni Ribisi for A Million Ways To Die In The West...

Following the success of his debut feature as director - Ted - Seth MacFarlane no doubt had quite a lot of leverage in terms of pushing through his next project, and indeed securing the cast. Ted made in excess of $500m worldwide of a budget of $50m, which made Universal a tidy profit. No wonder a sequel is on the way.

MacFarlane's next project though is a comedy western entitled A Million Ways To Die In the West. It'll see MacFarlane star as a cowboy who trains to be a gunslinger after losing his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried). Said cowboy is taught by a famous outlaw played by wolfpuncher himself, Liam Neeson. However, things are complicated when he develops feelings for said outlaw's wife, played by Charlize Theron. It's worth noting Theron's distinctly unimpressed look at one of MacFarlane's musical numbers during the Oscars. She was not alone.

Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi, the latter of whom will play MacFarlane's closest friend, are the latest additions to the cast. And as we hear more on the project, we'll let you know. At the very least, its cast is sounding really rather good...
