Would you like to see a picture of Philip Seymour Hoffman in purple velour trousers? Then look at these images from Catching Fire...

With its release scheduled for late this year, the makers of The Hunger Games' second installment are no doubt working around the clock to get the thing finished. And as director Francis Lawrence puts his take on Catching Fire together, all sorts of new images have emerged, which you can find below.

Once again, the clothes are loud and decadent, and we shudder to think what the film's velour, silk and crushed velvet budget was. One of the pictures offers our first look at Philip Seymour Hoffman as gamesmaster Plutarch Heavensbee. With a name like that, it's only fitting that you'd dress like an expensively upholstered Las Vegas sofa.

We're also intrigued to note that the helmet-clad police have been given a new outfit. In the first film, they looked a bit like the scary robot cops in THX 1138, or the enslaved Robomen out of Daleks - Invasion Earth: 2150 AD. Now, they look like the Stig out of Top Gear.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is due out on the 22nd November 2013.
