Brett Ratner-watch: The Hugh Heffner movie

Friends, we've been lax. It's been a criminally long amount of time since we last brought you up to date with the latest on the planet's favourite movie director. Fortunately, while we've been sitting on our backsides though, Mr Brett Ratner absolutely hasn't. And the great news is that another of his projects seems to be inching its way towards the big screen.

Mr Ratner has, you see, been planning a movie about Playboy chief Hugh Heffner, and the latest on the project is that the script is complete. The plan is for Robert Downey Jr to star, and for Mr Ratner to start lensing duties on the film in 2010.

We promise not to be so remiss in keeping you up to date with Mr Ratner's work in the future. It's the least he deserves.
