Twilight New Moon: meet the Wolf Pack
Simon Brew
News on Twilight 2 and Twilight 3, all in one story. And we finally get to meet the Wolf Pack…
Published on Apr 22, 2009
Yesterday, we reported that the fourth Twilight movie was entering the early planning stages. But there's also the small matter of the second in the series, New Moon, which is heading to cinemas this winter.
Directed by Chris Weitz (of The Golden Compass and American Pie fame), the first image of the Wolf Pack from the film has just been revealed by USA Today. And it might just be us, but it currently looks like a group of Chippendale-wannabes standing around in their trousers. Ho hum.
In other Twilight news, the quest to find a director for the third film may be getting resolved shortly. Twilight: Eclipse, which is out in the summer of 2010, could well see David Slade behind the camera, according to Deadline Hollywood. Slade previously directed Hard Candy (which is some film, to be fair) and 30 Days Of Night (which isn't). His name is one of several in contention (and we did think that the producers had settled on The Orphanage's Juan Antonio Bayona), and we'd imagine an announcement has to be made soon, what with the tightness of the deadlines involved in getting the film made for next summer.
