We’re heading towards the summer season, and unlike the disappointments of last year, there’s a bucketload of treats that genuinely look like the real deal. Here’s the one-stop list of what to expect and when. And yes, Indy really is out next month…

[Note: these are UK cinema release dates]

May 2nd: Iron Man

May 9th: Doomsday

May 16th: Speed Racer

May 22nd: Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

May 28th: Sex & The City: The Unwanted Movie

June 13th: The Happening

June 13th: The Incredible Hulk

June 26th: The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian

July 2nd: Hancock

July 4th: Kung Fu Panda

July 11th: Mamma Mia

July 11th: Journey To The Center Of The Earth

July 11th: Meet Dave (this year’s crap Eddie Murphy comedy)

July 18th: The Love Guru (Mike Myers’ comeback)

July 25th: The Dark Knight

August 1st: The X Files 2

August 8th: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

August 15th: Get Smart

August 22nd: Hellboy 2

August 22nd: You Don’t Mess With The Zohan (this year’s predictable Adam Sandler comedy)

Our early bet for the one that makes the most money: Narnia

If that was "You Don't Mess With The Lohan", I'd be queuing up now.

I love that there's a prediction that there will be a predictable Adam Sandler comedy this year. That made me smile

It's a more interesting selection than last year, although still not a great deal that seems particularly exciting. The most interesting looks like The Dark Knight, to me at least.

If it really was 'You Don't Mess With The Lohan' would the sub heading be 'Or Else You're Likely To End Up With Crotch-Rot'?

Don't talk ill of the Lohan, she is simply misunderstood... sigh. I think we should make that Lohan movie.

Really!?! You expect Narnia to make more than Indy? Even though Indy has 2 generations of fans and a month's headstart?
