Christina Ricci for new Adam Sandler porn comedy

Christina Ricci has signed on for the Adam Sandler co-written porno comedy, Born To Be A Star, which Sandler will also co-produce. However the star of the (criminally underrated) Black Snake Moan will not be lending her 'talents' to any more adult entertainment, as Ricci plays the lead's innocent girlfriend.

Born To Be A Star is about an (as yet uncast) "small-town nerd" who uncovers a shocking skeleton in the family's closet: that his frumpy parents were actually huge porn stars back in the 70s. This uncovering inspires him to relocate from Iowa to Hollywood, intent on following in the family tradition.

Ricci seems to have decided to continue down the cutesie bubblegum route that she took on Speedracer rather than expand on the rampant sexuality of her Black Snake Moan turn, which saw her chained to a radiator by Samuel L. Jackson for long stretches of the movie.

After last year's Zack And Miri Make A Porno, Born To Be A Star will be a mainstream movie that casually makes fun of the seedy world of porn. And with a script from Adam Sandler, you can expect lots of crude innuendo and schlong jokes.

Born To Be A Star is being made by the bizarrely appropriate and snigger-inducing Miles Deep Productions, with The Hot Chick's director Tom Brady behind the camera.

Principle photography starts at the end of April.
