Very rude trailer for Movie 43

Trailer 4 Oct 2012 - 07:57

Hugh Jackman, Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Kate Winslet and more star in Movie 43. Here’s the red band trailer…

This one’s been in the works for a good few years now (having been filmed back in 2010). It’s Movie 43, a collection of lots of comedy shorts starring lots of famous people. Behind the camera, you’ll find the likes of James Gunn, Brett Ratner, Peter Farrelly, Steven Brill and Elizabeth Banks directing segments. In front of it, the cast includes Hugh Jackman, Richard Gere, Kristen Bell, Anna Faris, Justin Long, Chloe Grace Moretz, Johnny Knoxville and, well, lots of people. Tons of them.

This trailer has lots of rude words, bits of nudity, and is very red band. It’s set for US release next January, with no UK release on the calendar thus far that we can see. Here’s the trailer, then. No peaking if you're of a young age...

Now that just stinks of Kentucky Fried Movie ........ which is a very good thing.

This has car crash written all over it. Although it will probably appeal to the same people who enjoyed Epic Movie and similar mouth-breather friendly titles.

I got a similar vibe. I think bits of this could prove very entertaining.

this looks amazing!! ahnd totally random. the hobo line and he vagina bleeding bits killed me. take my money!!

Sorry, Reverend, that you don't enjoy fun. Unless you were saying that you liked it, and were merely expressing doubt to the film's money making potential. Of course you could be saying that people who enjoy fun are unevolved and could never appreciate better cinema, which in your opinion, this film sure ain't.

Either way, be nice, eh?

? And the point with this movie is? Its meant to be so rude that it looses its funny side completely. Its almost an artfilm or a social experiment. And not a movie.

What IS this? And how are there so many really good actors in it?

My God this looks awful. Years ago "Amazon Women on the Moon" made the this kind of thing work (I was also a lot younger it should be noted in my defence!). Its not often I judge a film on a trailer alone, but I'm as closed to convinced this will be awful as I need to be. Talk about aiming for the lowest common denominator.

sound effects ,loud god-awful music, big fat red font , zooming in titles. Yep ,that what you do to try to disguise an awkward excuse for a movie.

...you're joking, right? yes, people who enjoy Epic Movie are unevolved and could never appreciate better cinema; of course they are; what's with you to suggest otherwise? Or that somehow movies like this one and Epic Movie equate to "fun"

Nope, not joking. Who are you to judge how people derive enjoyment from cinema? Some like to watch stupid stuff like this, others like to be scared, others like to cry. Still others like to watch pretentious art films, that's cool isn't it? I know some that enjoy and appreciate all of it.

Variety is a grand thing.

Anyway, beating a dead horse here. It's the Internet.

oh god, please help us. we've lost it as society. as trey and matt would maybe say, "the bar has been lowered"

where is james cameron?
