Skyfall: latest trailer
Fancy an eyeful of Skyfall? Then you’re in luck, because there’s a brand new trailer lurking within this post…
Having flung both himself and Her Majesty out of a helicopter for the Olympic opening ceremony, Bond’s dusted himself off for an appearance in the new trailer for Skyfall.
Except, of course, none of this is true; Bond doesn’t exist, Daniel Craig and the Queen were replaced by stunt doubles for that helicopter jump, and the footage below was shot months ago.
With those sobering details out of the way, let’s all bask in the chasey, shooty glory that is the new Skyfall trailer. As we already know, the movie sees Bond attacked on his home turf at MI6, so expect plenty of drama and desperate scramblings around London with villain Javier Bardem in hot pursuit. It all looks very exciting.
Skyfall is released in UK cinemas on October 26th 2012.

Q!
Was expecting awesome, buts that's pretty special.
It seems we're back to form.
Going by the trailer everything seems fit for the perfect Bond film: superb plot, amazing action scenes, great villain, stunning locations and the return of Q. I have a good feeling that this will be one of the best Bond films yet and so far I've yet to see anything bad about this one, because after a four year absence I doubt Broccoli and Wilson want to make another run-of-the-mill Bond film. They've clearly learnt from 'Die Another Day' how not to do an anniversary film, especially when they admitted it was too fantasy.
Bring on October!
Good looking movie, but awfully by-the-numbers trailer. I hate hearing Norman/Barry's theme butchered with synths like that.
Bring on October!
Oh this is going to be good (I hope).
still not better than the Timothy Dalton ones
How can you compare a trailer to two films?
I thought we'd moved past all this Craig hating, but apparently not.
I'm not exactly a big Bond fan but every time I see a trailer for his latest movie it sends a shiver down my spine. Cant wait to see it (probably on Bluray)
This looks awesome!!
Now Now Now Now!!!!!!!
The only Bond film I like is Casino Royale, but this does look good.
Looking forward to this, although I'm a bit like my wife, I miss the bad guy stroking a pussy!
Hate how the trailer has ruined all major surprises here.
How do we know it's ruined all the surprises? Most of what was revealed in the trailer has already been released as a synopsis, so if anything I wouldn't say there were many surprises at all, it simply outlined what the film is about.
I'm sure there will be even more surprises when we finally see the film.
reminds me of TDKR to be honest, complete with Femme fatale giving the old 'be scared' speech
Looking forward to it though.
Quantum was pure commercial gubbins where a coherent plot gave way to a string of action set pieces. Let's hope this isn't the same sort of thing...
definatley back to Casino Royale and less QoS! cant wait
How much surprise do you expect in a Bond movie anyway?!?! they only have 3 plots, "Mad man out to destroy the world", "Spectre or similar holding the world to ransom" & Bond/MI5/friends being directly attacked".
The title only gives away the fact it is going to be the 3rd option. Personally this trailer has me very excited, although Bardem looks rather less threatening than in other films I have seen him in.
I will be very surprised if Ralph Fiennes isn't the bad guy pulling the strings and Bardem is just the face of the operation.
Thumbs up for the Dalton appreciation. Not the most popular but certainly captured Bond better than Moore or Lazenby ever did. But I think Casino Royale surpasses even those and I don't say that lightly. This one will likely be the same level judging by the trailers.
I really like the idea of the details of all the secret agents being stolen. in fact, I'd go far as saying that it was one of my favourite episodes of Spooks.
The trailer promises a helluva lot; I just hope it delivers
Agreed! Trailers do tend to build an expectation that, unfortunately, is not always realised.
Q is back, and he looks pretty Q'ool.
Fingers crossed for something better than the dirge of Quantum of Snorers. My only concern is that Bardem looks like a camp panto villain rather than a genuine threat to Bond. Craig looks to be on top form though and I am definitely intrigued by the plot.
