Lost Boys 3 gets green light

Fans of The Lost Boys might want to look away – a new straight to DVD sequel has been commissioned…
Published on Mar 18, 2009
We weren't really fans of the straight to DVD Lost Boys sequel that emerged last year. We think that's the politest way we could put it. And yet the film made a lot of money for Warner's Premiere arm, becoming one of the biggest selling straight to DVD releases of all time.
It's thus, sadly, inevitable that a third film was going to get the greenlight, and according to Moviehole, that's just what's happened. Evan Charnov has been drafted in to write a script for the film. He previously wrote the TV show Fearless (not to be confused with the excellent and underrated Peter Weir movie of the same name).
On board will be Corey Feldman, and Jamison Newlander is also going to be appearing in this way.
You can check out the story here and then weep in your own time…

Lost Boys: The Tribe. So successful, they're making another. Sigh.
