Alexander Skarsgård for Thor?

Son of Stellan may be in talks with Branagh to play Marvel Comics' Norse god...

Latino review report that Alexander Skarsgård, the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård, may be in talks with Kenneth Branagh to play the key role in his upcoming movie adaptation of Marvel Comics' Thor.
Skarsgård Jr. may be best known to Hollywood as male model Meekus in Zoolander (2001), despite roles in TV's Generation Kill and True Blood. He's a towering 6 "4 and, while not a Norse god, would arguably be the most authentic choice for the hammer-wielding hero who leads a double life in heavenly Asgard and on Earth.
Thor was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby in 1962, and he's conflicted enough to fit the 'dark' profile Hollywood is clamouring for in superhero movies these days. Despatched by his angry dad Odin to occupy the disabled body of medical student Donald Blake, our hero learns upon graduating that he is actually an immortal with powers of hammer-aided flight and great fighting skill.
