In the midst of all the talk about the Superbowl slots and the shot in the arm they’ve given the likes of Transformers 2, we shouldn’t forget that, in just three months, the first X-Men spin-off movie will be ready and waiting on the big screen.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is being directed by Tsotsi and Rendition helmer Gavin Hood, and, after Watchmen, will be the first of the big blockbusters to hit the big screen this year. Arriving on May 1st, the publicity machine has recently spat out a brand new poster for the film, which inevitably features a close up of Hugh Jackman looking quite stern.
