Lesbian Vampire Killers final trailer

A welcome return for cult favourite Paul McGann, who plays 'Vicar' in Phil Claydon's apparently Hammer-inspired comic/slash mash-up. We can only feel that Ed Wood's George Weiss would have approved of the very prosaic titling and marketing of this tale of a rural village enslaved by sapphic bloodsuckers. Last year's excellent Chemical Wedding set the benchmark for the non-Hammer Hammer revival, and LVK will do well only to match it for enjoyable and blood-stained cheesiness...

Lesbian Vampire Killers Opens March 20th in the UK.

Got to feel sorry for the Gavin and Stacey lads. This is always going to be compared against Pegg/Frost films when it comes out. Looks ok from the trailer though.

Can't wait. I don't think there has really been any 'Shaun' rip offs and, frankly, it was so good I would go and see several. This will have me standing in line outside the local Odeon, even if it offer nothing original at all (which it may well do yet).
