A welcome return for cult favourite Paul McGann, who plays 'Vicar' in Phil Claydon's apparently Hammer-inspired comic/slash mash-up. We can only feel that Ed Wood's George Weiss would have approved of the very prosaic titling and marketing of this tale of a rural village enslaved by sapphic bloodsuckers. Last year's excellent Chemical Wedding set the benchmark for the non-Hammer Hammer revival, and LVK will do well only to match it for enjoyable and blood-stained cheesiness...
