Tom Hanks: Pixar working on Toy Story 4
Toy Story 4 is underway at Pixar, if the words of Tom Hanks are to be believed...
Well, blimey. In the aftermath of the release of Toy Story 3, the noises coming out of Pixar was that there were no plans to do a fourth film. That the story was pretty much done. Granted, we've heard that before, and granted, nothing was categorically ruled out. But even so, Toy Story 4 wasn't a project we thought would be on Pixar's radar anytime soon.
Turns out, though, that it might just be.
Chatting to BBC Breakfast News this morning (to promote his upcoming release, Larry Crowne), the actor was asked at the end of the interview whether there were, indeed, plans for a fourth installment of the Toy Story saga. And it turns out that there might just be.
When asked specifically if there would be a Toy Story 4, Hanks replied "I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. They’re working on it now. There you go."
There you go indeed. Crikey.
Obviously, we know no more than that. But the way we look at it, we didn't even know it was being worked on until this morning...
(due to human incompetence, we managed to miss this link off the story at first. We are, clearly, rubbish)
