Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesI was then about to say "it looks like hardy has been on the roids!" Because of his 'bacne'. Until I read it was makeup. They must have done that to show the side affects of the Venom. Nice touch. I can't wait for this movie!
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesI call shenanigans. My bet is he got all roided up, then the studio claimed it was part of the make-up so he isn't a bad role model for the kids.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesIf you've seen Warrior or Bronson, you'll know Tom Hardy has no problem putting on muscle for roles. Combined with the fact that he'll have had a top personal trainer and dietician as part of his prep for the film and most likely put in a shit load of work, I think it's a bit harsh people are going 'He's muscly, it must be roids'.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesErrr...why shouldn't actors use steroids exactly? Its not like they are cheating anyone, and with proper medical supervision, its not like they are taking much of a risk. There are steroids in plenty of over the counter drugs. When you see some of the physical transformations that some actors make in a couple of months, I can't see any other way they are doing it.
I'm pretty sure that if Hollywood make up artists are quite capable of hiding a bit of acne if they needed to, so if they didn't want to show this backne, they wouldn't.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesI wouldn't have anything against Hardy if he did juice. Personally, I don't think he does because he follows an excellent workout regime. I meant no disrespect to him as he is probably my favourite actor. So, please, put your dummies back in!
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesA bad role model for kids? He's playing the bad guy in a film. If your kids grow up wanting to be the bad guy then you've gone wrong as a parent.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesDont be absurd. Saying that someone is "juicing" because they have some acne. Get real, anytime I work out and sweat I break out. Its due to having more testosterone in your body. Dont assume.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesHa ha, I'm sure you'll all be relieved to know I'm not a parent! I think hollywood actor/public figure = role model, playing villains or optherwise. I'm not saying he's a bad person; I like him as an actor I just think he's pharmaceutically enhanced and society has issues with that.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesA spotty back at his age, he must be taking steroids.
Re: New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight RisesI agree with cerealguy. His acne could easily be a sign of higher testosterone levels. Plus I suspect that all that sweating whilst laying on a bench doesn't help much either. |

New behind the scenes picture from The Dark Knight Rises

Bane's scar takes centre stage in the new picture from The Dark Knight Rises. Plus, Liam Neeson addresses reports that he's been involved with the film...
We’ve already seen lots of behind the scenes pictures from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, courtesy of the large number of snaps taking by people while the film was shooting around the world.
This one seems more official, though. It’s a picture of the back of actor Tom Hardy, which demonstrates the neck scar that helps define his character, Bane. The spots around his back are also part of the make-up process.
In other The Dark Knight Rises news, Liam Neeson has commented on rumours that he was on the set of the film. It turns out that he was, but it’s no clearer whether he was filming or visiting.
Neeson told Showbiz Spy, "I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour and a half and the director didn't tell me anything of what it's about. So I'm being very honest when I say I have no idea what's going to happen."
Make of that what you will…
