With fast car chases round vertiginous cliff-side roads, luxurious private plane interiors, jumping around Italian rooftops and dodging big explodey things (in what looks suspiciously like a 'secret lair'), is Mr. Craig's tougher incarnation of 007 going the way of all versions? Will the follow-up to QoS find Craig zipping about space and making bad quips about re-entry with a woman in silver spandex?

Sounds good to me either way, really - the tough new stance of Casino Royale was a welcome slap in the face, and if Quantum Of Solace does go gadgety and revert to canon...hey, it was a pretty good canon anyway. And you're never more than two Bond films away from another 'back to basics' strip-down of the franchise.
