Site recommendation: Runpee.com
Ron Hogan & Simon Brew
Den Of Geek recommends a marvellous site that lets you know when in the movie it’s safe to go to the little room…
Published on Aug 6, 2009
We're indebted to our trusted American correspondent, Mr Ron Hogan, for bringing this delightful site to our attention. Introducing Runpee.com, a website that's the antidote to movies getting longer.
The idea is this: as you sit through an elongated flick, sooner or later, nature is likely to call. But when can you go and take a leak, without having to worry that you're going to miss something important?
That's where Runpee.com comes in. It tells you exactly when it's safe to go, how long you've got, and then you have the option to find out what you've missed. It's available as an iPhone application too, so for once you can use your phone in the cinema for a proper purpose, rather than to try and piss everyone else off.
You'll find the site at www.runpee.com. Enjoy it...!
